This constant graduation of prescription means that you can look up to see in the distance, look ahead to view things such as the computer in the intermediate zone and look down to read and perform fine, close work comfortably. There is no annoying “image jump” that is sometimes noticed by bifocal wearers who feel they are “tripping over the line on their glasses”.
