Retinal Photography

As an additional service, selected Moffatt Optical branches offer a revolutionary new retinal screening technology.

This takes a digital image of the back of the eye and lets us examine parts of the retina in a way not possible with conventional instruments.

Retinal photography gives our optometrists the opportunity to detect, view and monitor early signs of any sight-threatening eye conditions.

If required, these digital images of the retina can then be emailed to an ophthalmologist.
